Cookie and Local Storage Policy

The cookies, browser storage and offline cache used by the current FootForAll pilot.

Last updated

Current position

FootForAll does not currently use advertising or audience-measurement trackers. The service uses one first-party preference cookie and browser storage required for sign-in, role context, navigation and PWA operation. Optional analytics or advertising storage will not be introduced without updating this policy and obtaining consent where required.

First-party cookie

If this cookie is removed, the service chooses a language from the browser request and otherwise defaults to English.

  • ffa-locale — remembers the interface language (EN, EL or RU) for up to 12 months. It is a SameSite=Lax preference cookie and is marked Secure in production.

Local and session storage

These values are browser storage rather than cookies. Clearing authentication storage signs the user out. Do not use a shared or untrusted device for a persistent session.

  • ffa_access_token and ffa_refresh_token — keep an authenticated session until logout, revocation, expiry or browser-data removal.
  • ffa_active_venue_id — remembers the venue workspace selected by a venue manager until changed or cleared.
  • ffa_pwa_prompt_dismissed_at — suppresses the install prompt for 14 days after dismissal.
  • ffa:catalog-scroll:* — session-only navigation position data, normally removed after restoration or when the browser session ends.

PWA cache

The service worker caches only the offline information page and PWA icons for fallback use. Account and match API responses are not deliberately cached for offline access. Old cache versions are removed when the service worker activates.

Google address and map tools

Where a maps API key is configured, pages that provide address search or map features load Google Maps/Places. Google may receive technical data such as IP address, browser details, map coordinates and search input and may use device storage under its own terms. The tool is used only on relevant address interfaces; a manual address path remains available when it is disabled or unavailable.

Your controls

You can delete or block cookies, local storage, session storage and cache in browser settings. Doing so may reset language and workspace choices, sign you out or remove offline installation support. Contact us if you believe an unlisted tracker or storage key is active.
